Find Serial Code

Press and hold buttons 1 & 6 together.
You will get to see a series of information on the display of your Radio / Stereo, the information what we require will be a Serial Number starting with "V" followed by 6 digits number.
On pressing on 1 & 6 together if nothing shows up on the display try with this alternative method i.e. by pressing and holding down buttons 2 & 6.

Or without removing unit just press and hold buttons 6 and 1 on radio until the V number displays

How to enter?

To enter the code just repeatedly press button 1 until the correct first digit of the code is shown then do the same with number 2, 3 and 4 – Please follow the entry pattern mentioned below.

Or with the newest unit just type correct numbers.

After that just press button no. 5 or * to enter/confirm.

Code Entry Pattern

Press 1 repeatedly for the first digit of your code.
Press 2 repeatedly for the second digit of your code.
Press 3 repeatedly for the third digit of your code.
Press 4 repeatedly for the fourth digit of your code.
Cross check once the code you have entered is the correct as per the unlock code for your radio which is showing on the display now.
Now press & hold the number 5 button until you hear an Confirmation Beep.

Note

Enter the radio code when you see four horizontal lines on the display screen. If you see the word wait, you need to leave the radio switched on for up to 1 hour this will allow the radio to reset.

If “LOCKED 10 / LOCK 10” is being displayed on the screen just press and hold the preset button “6” whilst turning the radio on this method it will give you 3 more final attempts to enter the correct code for your radio.

If your radio displays a message on the display as “LOCKED 13 / LOCK 13” then this unlock code will be of no use to you as this radio need to be manually decoded through a Ford Dealership or through the repair centre.
